Relief - Do you feel it, too?

I really, really enjoyed the code, but I am sooooooooooooooo relieved it is over. I just will NOT be able to buy anything at full price now that I have been so spoiled. I am glad that I will no longer have to look at the AG website over and over again looking for anything under $30, planning and plotting and checking my Visa statement waiting and waiting for my new Visa cycle to start. I am definitely relieved.

I am a little relieved!!!!!!! But then I was looking at the cataloge and kept saying, Oh I should had bought that and that..... [img]redface.gif[/img] But now I am back in control. But I am glad American Girl had the coupon. Cause so many customers purchased and so many new customers were introduced to American Girl. I for one, thank American Girl. They do not do the coupon so often, but wish that they did something like it from time to time. For that I will remain a faithful customer.

Yes, I am relieved too! I feel guily for ordering soooo much, but I'm glad I was able to get what I did. I've got enough b'day, christmas, good grade, no reason gifts to last for about 5 yrs. LOL! [img]wink.gif[/img]

Oh and I did have to order the girls Coconut pj's this morning since the free shipping was still working. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I did have to order three doll stands since they were on sale and with free shipping it was a real bargain, better than the code. I am not ready for Kaya, Elizabeth and Kit to join our family! I hope that DH and our dog give me Kaya for Mother's Day. Elizabeth will join us as soon as she is available and I am thinking that Kit will be on my Christmas wish list. She needs to come and use her coded desk!

I'm glad the code has ended too but like Ria, I now wish I had ordered some other items. Now I have to be patient.

A resounding YES, I am relived as well. I ordered many items as well and have near complete collections for some of our historicals, with the exception of the bigger furniture pieces or their trunks. A fair share also went to the AGT's. Most of it is in my stash for future xmas or birthdays, and I'll need to find every little reason I can to pull it out during the year.

I honestly don't see myself ordering anything for months now, maybe until Elizabeth comes out. I broke down last night and got at least Molly's and Kit's swim suits and Kit's chair. I have the green chairs from the old cabana set which are exactly the same as Molly's, and I didn't get Samantha's (for Nellie) because I already have the original. Some day I might get it and the umbrella, but I didn't feel pressured to get it now.

I hope there will be another code with the next movie. But I also know that I need to order all the Elizabeth items when they first come out, not taking any chances like last year with Nellie. I think Santa will be bringing Felicity and Elizabeth, and I have everything currently available for Felicity now, thanks to the code.

I know it might be boring all summer long not to see new things, but I need a break too from devouring the website and memorizing the catalog. Time to pull out my non-AG picnic table and webber gril and have a cookout when the weather decides to stay nice up here. 73 degrees 2 days ago and now it's back down to 40!

I went to bed relieved but woke to find the free shipping still works! [img]eek.gif[/img] I am trying to control myself from ordering the Coconut pj's for my DD but I don't want to give them to her til Christmas. Who knows how much she will grow. Then I think they might retire before then? So I am in a quandary. [img]confused.gif[/img]

Well,I wouldn't think they would retire them so quickly, but last year the Heart to Heart print pj's for girls only came out in January and suddenly disappeared in July or August! I was able to get them from Chg, but they never did come back on the website.

I coded the doll pj's but didn't get the girls yet. Anything with pants in the girl's AG sizes are way to big on Diana so far, so I'd be safe in getting the size small, but just can't spend any more right now. I still have till the end of the month though to decide, unless they take them off special earlier.

This is so funny!!! I was going to post the same thing!!! I am glad it is over! But, I really enjoyed myself! I got several christmas gifts with the code!!! But, I feel so much relief! [img]smile.gif[/img]

My gosh, YES!!! For 2+ months I've been thinking, I really should get this...I'll regret missing out on that...that's not worth full price, but with $10 off...
I am SO glad it's over! We got all of our latest purchases sent to my grandparents' house to avoid paying tax, so I'll have to wait until the end of April to enjoy everything we got. I even told my mom to wrap some of the items we coded for my birthday presents, I felt so guilty. [img]redface.gif[/img] She told me, don't feel guilty, just start saving big-time for Elizabeth NOW. [img]wink.gif[/img] That I am!

That being said I hope another one comes our way in the future. [img]graemlins/devil.gif[/img]
